Possibilities with Pan Pastels-Workshop with Lisa Regopolous

Have you wanted to explore the possibilities of the PanPastel medium? This workshop is perfect for artists who have never tried PanPastel or artists that are ready to get more creative with the medium. The workshop will begin with an hour demo about color mixing, application techniques, layering and mark making. Attendees will then complete brief exercises utilizing the techniques before beginning their own masterpiece. The PanPastel will also be used in combination with soft pastel, and Lisa will bring her stencils for added experimentation. You’ll see how fast you can block in shapes and watch a painterly image emerge. Workshop attendees will leave the workshop with the knowledge and confidence to use PanPastel as part of their studio practice. Attendees are encouraged to work from their own photos.
