Shake up your routine with a dive into monotype printmaking!

Starting your work the same way every time is comfortable and can give you confidence in a good outcome . . . but it can also lead to boredom and get you stuck in predictability.  In this in-person one day workshop, Alexia will share printmaking tools and methods that are accessible to everyone (no etching press needed!), and we’ll explore how monotypes can be used as the starting point for dynamic, painterly pastel paintings—full of unique textures and surprises.

The workshop will be held at Alexia’s home studio on her farm in Pepperell, Mass. Weather permitting, we may do some work outdoors, where there are views of the horses, pastures and gardens to paint. Bring your lunch for a picnic on the patio!
