MEET OUR JUROR, MARCIA HOLMES

Louisiana artist Marcia Holmes, deeply connected to life around water, expresses organic form through gestural strokes and her use of neutrals and love of color, creating abstract impressionist and impressionist paintings in oil, pastel, acrylic, and mixed media. A Master Pastelist of Pastel Society of America and Eminent Pastelist of International Association of Pastel Societies, Marcia has shown her work extensively in national and gallery shows and solo museum exhibitions, and has been featured in major art publications including Pastel Journal, Fine Art Connoisseur, and Practique des Arts.
