Michele will demonstrate her techniques for achieving a lively semiabstract pastel landscape.
Exact representation and detail are not the goal. Looking closely at the endless colors and patterns in nature can lead to an expressive semiabstract painting. This point of view allows one to express the essence or feeling of the scene rather than dwelling on the details.
